DETAILED STEP-BY-STEP CONSTRUCTION BLUEPRINT FOR AN AFFORDABLE, OWNER BUILT WAUTILLARIUM HOME AND MICRO-FARM

After dedicating 13 years to research, hands-on learning from Earthship BioTecture, creating numerous sketches and 3D renders, meticulously designing intricate heating and cooling systems in Virtual Reality, and constructing 5 homes in warm climates and 2 in cold climates, in December 2024, I am thrilled to unveil the Wautillarium blueprint.

Each day, at this very moment, I am crafting a BioMimetic Bio-Shelter that will  nurture and sustain its inhabitants within.

I’ve combined a few tried and tested systems and features such as:

  • Canadian passive green house

  • Earthship

  • Nebraska Oranges in the snow thermal mass sunken greenhouse

  • South Korean ondol floor with heating channels

  • Passive Chinese greenhouse design with a large thermal mass

  • Hot composing by Jean Pain

  • John Hait umbrella home

  • Evaporative Biochar fridge for cooling

  • Ancient cooling strategies that are used in the Middle East

  • Bio-Geometry that will mitigate the harmful EMR

Over the next couple of months, I will meticulously craft a detailed blueprint for the innovative Wautillarium BioShelter. This blueprint will seamlessly integrate the best features mentioned above, including advanced self-cooling and heating mechanisms, a 12-foot deep greenhouse, a cutting-edge grey water treatment system, and an aquaculture setup. Once the blueprint is finalized, I will create a scale physical model this summer to visualize and refine every aspect of this groundbreaking design.

After the blueprint is done, I will make a scale model to clearly visualise all the features from all angles which will allow me to tweak the set of drawings.

Presented below is my latest creation - a home that combines passive heating and cooling techniques, innovative water harvesting, and filtration systems for food production. With 17 years of construction experience and guidance from Bio-Architecture experts, I have perfected this design.

Once the pre final blueprint is complete, I will create a detailed excel parts list for cost estimation, which is crucial for potential investors and anyone who wants to build it

After 5 years of planning, countless drawings, VR sketches, 3D designs, clay models and even real life prototype of a physical foundation, this August I will finally commence with construction of a full fledged Wautillarium as per the same set of blueprints as I am developing right NOW.  The real-world experience will allow me to refine the construction drawings and you'll receive the updated FINAL VERSION that we will discuss during our Q&A zoom call.

Having already created 4 online courses where students have successfully built what I teach, I will be developing the 5th course with detailed step-by-step video instructions so you can replicate and build your own Wautillarium in your specific soil type and climatic conditions. It will be a separate product.

You can expect to receive a set of construction drawings by the end of 2024, complete with the Earthships' water organising module as well as the grey & water botanical cells.
